I hear crackling noises
For the best audio quality, always wear your headset on the same side of the body as your mobile phone. Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it is sensitive to objects between the headset and the connected device. It is designed for the headset and the connected device to be used within 10 metres (33 feet) of each other, with no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).
I cannot use Reject call, Call on hold, Redial or Voice dialling?
These functions are dependent on your phone supporting them. Please check your phone’s manual for further details.
Why has the light stopped flashing blue on my BT2010 or BT185 headset?
The BT2010 or BT185 incorporates a discreet light feature which stops the light from blinking after 1 minute of non-activity. The headset is still active and the light will flash again after a tap on the answer/end button or any call activity.
How do I pair the BT2010 or BT185 with my cell phone?
Put the BT2010 or BT185 in discoverable mode: With the headset off, press the answer/end button until the blue light comes on and stays on without flashing. Go into the Bluetooth menu on your cell phone and follow the cell phone’s instruction guide for pairing a Bluetooth headset. This generally involves going into a “devices” or “hands free” menu and adding a new device. Your phone may ask if you want to pair with the headset, accept by pressing “yes” or “OK” and confirm with the passkey or PIN 0000 (4 zeros).
Does my headset work with other Bluetooth equipment?
Your headset is designed to work with most Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1, 1.2 and support a headset and/or handsfree Bluetooth profile. I have connection problems
You may have deleted your headset pairing connection in your mobile phone. Follow the pairing instructions
I cannot hear anything in my headset
Increase the volume on the headset. Ensure that the headset is paired with the phone. Make sure that the phone is connected to the headset – if it does not connect either from the phone’s Bluetooth menu or by tapping the answer/end button, follow the pairing procedure.
