When I listen to music from my PC in the headset the quality is very poor.
The USB adapter does not support stereo Bluetooth streaming (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile or A2DP) and therefore streams music using the Headset Profile which has a limited bandwidth and not suitable for high quality music. If your phone supports A2DP the music quality will be much higher.
How do I pair the headset with my mobile phone?
Turn your headset on, press and hold the answer/end button until the Bluetooth indicator flashes blue. Activate Bluetooth on the phone and set your phone to search for Bluetooth devices and select Jabra EXTREME. Press ’Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone and if asked for a PIN code confirm with PIN code 0000 (4 zeros).
Why is the USB Adapter lit in orange?
The USB adapter will light up in orange when your headset is both connected to your USB adapter and mobile phone and you receive a call on the mobile phone. The orange light indicates that you are still connected to the USB adapter but on an active call with a different device or phone.
The headset does not work when I use Skype.
In the Skype Client did you press “OK” when prompted “New audio device found”? If you pressed “Don’t use with Skype” please go to “Call” in the drop down menu in the upper left corner of the Skype Client, choose “Audio Settings…” and choose “Jabra LINK 320 USB” in the two drop down menus under Microphone and Speaker and then press “Save”.
My headset is on but it is not connected.
As the headset can seem to be on when the on/off slider button is in the on position (green color can be seen) the headset can be out of battery power. Press one of the buttons on the headset to check the battery status. If the LED light does not light up in green, yellow or red, the headset is fully discharged. Please connect the charger and let the headset charge for up to 2 hours to be fully charged.
Can I take the USB Adapter out of the USB port when it is done installing itself?
Yes, once the USB adapter is installed you can take it out without any problems. To use the USB adapter again simply insert the USB adapter in to the same USB port it was installed on and it is ready to use. If you insert the USB adapter into a different USB port it will simply install itself on that port as well. This does not have any negative effect on the use of the product.
Do I need to install additional software/programs to make the headset work with Skype?
No, simply insert the USB Adapter in a free USB port on your PC. When Windows has installed the USB adapter turn on your headset and it will connect automatically to the USB adapter.
I cannot answer nor end the Skype call with the Answer/End button on the headset.

When my headset is charging I cannot take any calls with it.
For safety reasons the headset cannot be used while charging. Please allow the headset to charge fully and disconnect from the charger and it will be ready for use.
